This Barytocelestine Slice is a colourful and unusual mineral found in the UK. One side has been polished to enhance the beautiful salmon-pink colour and the other side has been left natural. This would make a lovely display piece for any collection.
Barytocelestine is a conglomeration of the minerals celestite (strontium sulphate) and barite (barium sulphate).
Origin – Chipping Sodbury Quarry, Gloucestershire
