This is a lovely example of a mineral Dendrite from Solenhofn, Germany. The appearance of fern-like plants on the Jurassic limestone slab was created naturally by mineral rich water depositing manganese and iron rich oxides in cavities within the limestone. The patterns make an interesting and attractive piece for displaying.
Size – approx. 80mm x 60mm
