This beautiful Mookaite has a polished point, rough sides and a flat cut base which makes it free-standing.

Mookaite is a fossiliferous sedimentary rock.  The correct geological term for the formation that Mookaite occurs in is Windalia Radiolarite.  The name ‘Mookaite’ is derived from the locality where the rock is dug, namely Mooka Creek.

This is a unique piece.  You will receive this exact Mookaite Rough and Polished Point.  Please note that whilst we take every care to be accurate, sizes and weights are approximate.
